Web Site
The ultimate goal was to extend the museum's valuable research content to the public by creating a suite of digital bulletins, translating complex scientific information into accessible, easy-to-understand content.

Kiosk Design
The museum had a vision to create physical access centers, for content ranging from chocolate to elephants, via the Web and throughout the museum in the form of kiosks.
We created a series Bio Bulletins for the Hall of Biodiversity. Working in close collaboration with the museum's architects, curators, editors and videographers, our team established a platform for converting and distributing content to a general audience. Natural wonders, such a tropical rain forest, were recreated using full-motion video with a custom browser plug-in. A publishing tool allows museum staff to update and maintain the site without ever having to rely on outside help.
The project was funded by NASA and the New York Times, and was a featured project in the book Great Web Architecture by Clay Andres.
