Rubin Museum of Art
The Rubin Museum of Art (RMA), a newly established museum slated to open in March 2004, will house America's largest private collection of Himalayan art. After receiving a planning grant from the National Endowment of the Humanities (NEH), RMA contracted us to work with them collaboratively in the initial stages of planning their Web site.
hello world.
Featured Projects
The Robert Wilson Archive
OpenPad Enterprise and a beautifully crafted site help bring the Robert Wilson Archive to the world.

Watermill Center
Online tools for alumni and applicants lets Watermill Center reach out to a global audience.
Autism Speaks
Publishing daily site updates, and maintaining a vast amount of autism related information using OpenPad Enterprise.
Prototype
With the goal of distributing RMA's rare and valuable scholarly information to a demographically and geographically diverse audience, we worked with the museum's director and grant writer to create a working prototype, rich with layered content and elegant graphic design, for the NEH grant application. The interface is designed to display artwork and content in such a way that readers can get information appropriate to their interest level. Additionally, we worked collaboratively with the museum to write the technology and user experience sections of the grant application.
Easy Updates
For the first time, all the features that make Flash so compelling—such as a visually stunning, animated interface—are combined with the flexibility and dynamic qualities of a content management system. The prototype was developed as a Flash MX application, which uses an XML data repository to provide an easy-to-update format for RMA staff. This ground-breaking technology allows anyone to update screen content by editing a text document, rather than having to employ a technical person to make changes to the actual Flash file.

Benefits
